Categories Tree

Categories Tree is a tool for hierarchically organizing journal records. It allows grouping cards into categories and subcategories, simplifying navigation and data filtering. The widget is displayed as a side menu and allows quick navigation between sections without losing sight of the full record list.

In preview mode (1), the administrator can add a Menu widget (3) in addition to the standard widgets (2):

The Menu widget is a tree of categories. To create the first category, click Add:

To add a top-level category, click the large + (1). To add a subcategory, click the small + (2):

Enter a name:

To create a card within a category, click + (3):

The created card will be available both within the category and in the main section.

For navigation convenience, breadcrumbs (1) are available in the view:

Clicking on a tile (2) opens its preview (3). Clicking on the tile’s header (4) opens the card in a separate tab.

The main section (in this case, Contracts) contains all records, while the hierarchy acts as a filter:

To move an item to a different section, select the item and drag it to the desired section:
