Citeck Updates
This page collects all Citeck platform updates — from fixes and improvements to new modules and capabilities. Each release contains a list of changes available in the base version, as well as functionality available only in the Enterprise version.
2026.2

The Gantt Chart widget now supports selecting the data view scale: hours, days, weeks, months, years.
The project now supports the Gantt Chart widget: creating tasks and milestones, setting deadlines and dependencies directly on the diagram. Created elements are displayed in the ‘Project Tasks’ or ‘Milestones’ sections depending on the selected type.
The Select journal component now allows flexibly configuring journal IDs for various usage scenarios.
Added support for hierarchical catalogs: records can be organized into a tree and selected from it directly on the form.
New form component Select Hierarchical — for selecting records organized in a hierarchy.
New journal view Hierarchy — displays records as a tree (company structure, product catalog, etc.).
BPMN. In the user task verdict settings, you can now require a mandatory comment. When designing a process, you can require the task assignee to leave a comment when selecting a specific outcome (e.g., “Reject”, “Send back for revision”).
Local artifacts created within a workspace (types, forms, journals, boards, processes, DMN, etc.) can now be saved as applications.
In the Community version, document generation from a template is available.
Citeck Launcher: server mode. Designed for deploying and managing the Citeck platform on Linux servers. Unlike the desktop version, server mode operates without a graphical interface: management is done via CLI and systemd service.
Enterprise
Intelligent Assistant received an adaptive design for optimal display on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. New features:
corporate knowledge base search: the assistant automatically finds relevant documents using semantic search and generates a response — without manual searching;
generating answers to questions about the current BPMN process in Markdown format;
creating customizable AI agents with custom instructions, LLM selection, and a set of tools;
semantic search through the Citeck platform documentation for accurate answers about its capabilities;
chat history export.
Semantic search and document indexing — meaning-based search that finds the right documents even without exact word matches. Available in three places:
in the search bar in the top navigation panel (live search) — results appear in the ‘Semantic Search’ section;
on the global search page — in the ‘Semantic Search’ group next to ‘Documents’, ‘People’, and ‘Workspaces’;
in the intelligent assistant — for answering questions about the knowledge base.
Chrome extension citeck-meeting-recorder, which records video conferences in Yandex Telemost, automatically transcribes speech, and generates a meeting summary. The result is saved in the Citeck platform as an activity and linked to the relevant business entity (deal or project).

In the Community version, journal data export to HTML, Excel, or CSV format files is available for further use in external tools.
In the Community version, file import (Excel) by template is available, as well as import of users and groups.
Added a setting to the ‘Status’ widget to change the status directly from the widget.
Developer Console, which allows executing JavaScript code directly in the browser with result display.
A documentation section for the platform has been added to the interface of the cross-platform launcher.
Added the ability to define rules for generating the local part of the identifier in the data type.
Added the ability to localize errors on the server side.
Added automatic Markdown format detection in the WYSIWYG editor.
Kanban board. Card grouping by record attributes is available — swimlanes mode, which allows visually separating cards into horizontal lanes by the values of the selected field, simplifying navigation and task analysis.
Added hoursPerDay (person-days) mode to DurationFormatter.
Enterprise
Added to the intelligent assistant:
the ability to generate and edit Citeck forms based on a text description;
script editor assistant — helps create and edit scripts in BPMN Script Task, computed attributes, and more.
Digital signature (EDS) signing functionality can be added to any data type.
AI assistant in the developer console for help with writing code and generating scripts.

Ability to create artifacts in a workspace by the workspace manager.
Journals. Data view as tiles, which can be used for visual display, for example, product cards.

Enterprise
Text editing capability added to the intelligent assistant functionality. The assistant is also integrated with the Lexical editor.
Added the ability to obtain a ready-made counterparty verification report from Kontur.Focus in the counterparty card. The verification status is displayed in the card, and the report is saved in the “Documents” widget.

Cross-platform launcher for quick local deployment of Citeck, both with and without demo data.
Client 360 - in the counterparty card, tabs display consolidated data from platform modules, such as interaction history on deals and contracts, and technical support.
Kanban board: sum calculation in columns, applying a template for kanban card names.
Updated design system, redesigned tabs and widgets.
Additional out-of-the-box interface themes: red, purple, and cool.
LinkFormatter: added configuration options for link opening via the formatter.
TableForm: added the ability to select a value from a catalog.
Enterprise
Graphic Statistics widget: added “Funnel” chart type.
Intelligent Assistant - an AI assistant for helping with platform configuration, including business processes, document analysis and comparison.
New BPMN element - AI task, responsible for calling AI based on a specified prompt, and then, depending on business requirements you can do anything that BPMN allows.
‘Inbound Processing Tasks’ Journal - ability to sign contracts and addendums with a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) and exchange them with counterparties via EDI providers.

Workspaces - separate areas in Citeck for users to collaborate on a specific set of functionalities, documents, files, processes. Workspaces provide:
Online collaboration on documents and files;
Task management and tracking their progress on a kanban board;
Creating and populating dashboards with widgets.
Functional modules are now distributed across workspaces.
Corporate Portal - a section of Citeck for company employees that brings together various tools, information, and services in one place.
The updated journals interface allows adaptive management of data display in the table based on the user’s device screen height.
Added a WYSIWYG editor for creating and editing content (text, images, tables) in real-time, where the result is displayed as it will look after publication.
Added widgets: Hierarchy, Publication, Available Spaces, HTML.
Updated the Assignments module: added a kanban board for tracking execution progress. The module operates within workspaces.
BPMN Editor. Added the ability to send meeting invitation emails to the user’s calendar in notifications.
BPMN Editor. Added the ability to set task deadlines manually or via expression in user tasks.
Data view as a list. This view can be used to display, for example, a news list, knowledge base, list of products or equipment.
The Org Structure component now allows dynamically setting the root group (via scripts depending on form conditions) from which the hierarchy display will start when selecting a group/user.
Enhanced ColoredFormatter: added display as a dot.
Added an action for applying a theme in the “Themes” journal.
When creating a data type, added the ability to specify that a text attribute is unique. This adds uniqueness validation for such attributes when creating and editing records.
To ensure security, stability, and compliance with modern standards, the React JS library has been updated to version 18.2.
Enterprise
Added the ability to import files (Excel) into the system using a template. As a result of data processing, cards of the selected type are created in the system.
The ‘Activities’ widget is now available to work within workspaces.

Important
In ecos-data, system tables have been renamed with a different prefix - ecos_ => ed_. Migration during the update will happen automatically, but after this, rolling back the system to a previous version with the same database will be problematic. It is recommended to make a backup before updating.
Important
When updating to version 2024.10, if the system has secrets in plain text, they will be automatically encrypted upon the first start of the updated version.

Optimized data loading in journals
BPMN. Added a new event type User Action, upon selecting which the ability to choose actions from a dropdown list appears.
BPMN. In the editor when configuring signals and using the Event Type - “Status Changed”, added low-code support in the form of selecting a status from a dropdown list.
In the Contracts module, the use of DMN decisions for selecting the approval stage and approvers has been added.
In the document library, adding files and folders via drag-and-drop has become available.
On the kanban board, added a choice for the placement of card field names: left or top.

Journals:
If a time-interval condition is set in the journal filters, then an empty list is exported (excel, csv, etc.).
When changing the column order, they are not saved in the template.
An error occurs when navigating to grouped records in any templates.
In journal templates, the filter list disappears if column sum is enabled.
There is no scrolling in journal templates.
In the journal settings, the dropdown list for sorting columns does not open.

A major update of out-of-the-box microservices and libraries has been performed:
Updated Java version to 21 (the latest LTS at the time of migration);
Updated Spring Boot to 3.3.2 (the latest stable at the time of migration);

The script engine has been replaced with GraalVM JS. The update allows using the functionality of new JS versions.
In the tasks journals, added the ability to filter BPMN tasks by document attributes and task attributes.
Added a system attribute _statusModified, which stores the date of the last status change for a record.
Updated the document library interface: card dashboard, default view, actions.
On the kanban board, for each column, you can hide items older than the duration specified in the settings. On the board, for columns with this setting enabled, items with a status transition date older than the specified duration will be hidden.
Org Structure. Added a setting for searching by additional fields.

Added Git integration, which allows linking a Citeck application with a Git repository.
The ‘Activities’ widget has been added to the CRM module, which helps plan and organize work with deals using planned tasks: call, email, meeting; and the functionality of Assignments.
Lazy approval. Added the ability to select a notification template conditionally based on process variables.
Updated the ‘History’ widget for the external portal.

When saving journal settings as a template, it is possible to select multiple users and groups who will have access to the template.

Business Schedule - functionality for accounting non-working days.
In journals, the column width of the table can be changed and saved.
In a journal, a column can display the total sum of the column’s values. Enabling or disabling the sum display for each column is done separately for each attribute in the journal settings.
Added a new formatter Duration, when enabled, duration will be transformed into hours, i.e., 2d 3h 30m = 51h 30m.
Added the ability to describe mixins for any Citeck types in any microservice.
Defined supported file formats for the Print action.
In the Color formatter, added the ability to configure the condition for displaying a value in a specific color depending on the data value in the attribute.
To the ability to provide a response as a file download link (using config: implSourceId) only when selecting an action from the objects journal, added the possibility of a similar action from the object card.

Business Schedule and Production Calendar - functionality for accounting employees’ non-working and holiday days, which allows more flexible configuration of employee workflows in various system modules.
KPI - functionality for setting time norms:
Duration KPI allows tracking the time between specified BPMN elements (Source and Target) in the process.
Count KPI allows counting the number of passes through the specified element.
